The sealed connector housings are used for electrical connections between the harness and the various components in the car. In addition to the radial lip seal the male connector housing features a vertical sealing ring. This sealing ring dampens vertical vibrations and thus helps to prevend corrosion. They are adequate for underhood applications or applications in splash water zones. Depending on the series terminals with size 1.5 mm, 3.5 mm and 6.3 mm can be used with the housings.
